Preparation work

Care Point: Do the two sides.

Care Point: Do the two sides. Remove if replacing bumper panel or LTR side duct, otherwise disconnect only.
Remove bumper - Front
 
Care Point:
Apply protective tape to the surrounding area.
Care Point:
If camera fitted.
 
1.  
Disconnect camera electrical connector (1).
 
2.  
Disconnect the bumper harness electrical connector (2).
 
3.  
Remove bolts (3). (M6x20) 4.5 Nm
 
4.  
Remove bolts (4). (M6x16) 8 Nm
 
 
Care Point:
With the aid of another technician supporting the bumper assembly.
Care Point:
On both sides of the vehicle.
Care Point:
Vehicles fitted with standard headlamp bezel only.
 
5.  
Remove bolt and washer to horn bracket. (M6x16) 4 Nm
 
6.  
Remove bolts (5).(M6x16) 6 Nm
 
7.  
Remove bolts (6). (M6x12) 5 Nm
 
 
Care Point:
Bumper assembly fits tight to the fenders remove with care.
 
8.  
Remove bumper assembly.
 
 
Care Point:
If replacing any part of the bumper assembly, change over all relevant components.
 
9.   
Install bumper - Front
 
Care Point:
Make sure the assembly bumper front is located to the front fenders correctly.
Partially install bolts 3 and 4 to support bumper assembly whilst aligning to front fenders.
 
1.  
Install components in reverse order, excluding inner fender cover and luggage bin.DA-RM-02A051-00-001 - Gap and flush - Check and adjust - Panels
 
 
Care Point:
The procedures below must be claimed separately if you make a warranty claim.
 
2.  
Check and adjust the headlamp aim. DA-RM-03A073-00-001 - Adjust headlamp
 
3.  
Check camera alignment, adjust if required. DA-RM-07M021-00-001 - Calibrate 360 camera system
