Care Point: Remove both sides.

Care Point: Remove the right side only.

Care Point: Driver side only.

Care Point: Remove both sides. Disconnect only.

Care Point: Remove both sides. Remove wishbone to actuator bolt only.

Always limit fluid spills and fully clean the spilled fluid after repairs or maintenance.
 
Remove IHX unit
1.   
Remove the clamps (1).
 
2.   
Disengage the brake pipes (1).
 
3.   
Remove the clamp (1) and disconnect the hose.
 
4.   
Disengage the pipe (1) from the clamp.
 
 
Care Point:
Record the location of the pipes.
Care Point:
Disengage the pipes from both of the clamps.
 
5.   
Disengage the brake pipes (1) and (2).
Disengage the pipes (3) and (4).
Disengage the pipe (5).
 
6.   
Disengage the clamps (1) and disconnect the hoses.
Remove the pipe (2).
 
 
Care Point:
Install plugs when you disconnect Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) pipes.
 
7.   
Remove the bolt (1) (M6x25) 10 Nm.
Disconnect the pipe (2).
 
8.   
Remove the bolt (1) (M6x25) 10 Nm and disconnect the pipe.
Disengage the pipe from the clamp (2).
 
 
Care Point:
Record the location of the pipes.
 
9.   
Disengage the pipes from the clamps (1).
Disengage the pipes from the clamps (2).
 
 
Care Point:
Record the location of the pipes.
 
10.  
Disengage the pipes from the clamps (1).
Disengage the pipes from the clamps (2).
 
11.  
Remove the bolt (1) (M6x25) 10 Nm and disconnect the pipe.
 
12.  
Remove the bolt (1) (M6x25) 8 Nm and remove the clamp.
Disconnect the pipe (2).
 
 
Care Point:
Record the location of the pipes.
 
13.  
Disengage the remaining pipes (1).
Lower the clamp (2).
 
 
Care Point:
Record the location of the pipes.
 
14.  
Disengage the remaining pipes (1).
Lower the clamp (2).
 
15.  
Remove the IHX unit (1).
 
Install IHX unit
1.  
Install the components in reverse order.
