Preparation work

Care Point: Detach only.
Remove wheel speed sensor - Front
1.  
Disconnect electrical connector (1).
 
2.  
Detach connector from bracket (2).
 
3.  
Detach harness from clips.
 
4.  
Remove bolt (3).(M6x12) 8 Nm
 
5.  
Remove wheel speed sensor (4).
 
Install wheel speed sensor - Front
 
Care Point:
The sensor wire must not touch the brake disc. Make sure that the routing of the sensor wire is correct.
Care Point:
Turn the steering fully left and make sure that the sensor wire does not touch the brake disc.
Care Point:
Turn the steering fully right and make sure that the sensor wire does not touch the brake disc.
 
1.  
If you install a new wheel speed sensor, you must install the heatshield to the wheel speed sensor. Refer to GI-RM-0009 - Install Heatshield - Wheel speed sensor.
 
2.  
Install components in reverse order.
 
3.  
Read out and clear error memory.
