Powertrain / Engine / Power Unit / DA-RM-05F001-01-028 - Remove/Install Intake manifold assembly
Preparation work

Care Point: Remove both sides.

Remove Intake manifold
1.  
Disconnect electrical connector (1).
 
2.  
Unclip wiring harness from the intake manifold (2).
 
3.  
Disconnect hoses (3).
 
4.  
Remove fixings (4). (M6x30) 10 Nm
 
 
Care Point:
Make sure that foreign bodies cannot drop into the inlet chambers.
 
5.  
Cover the inlet chambers in the cylinder head (5).
 
 
Care Point:
The following step is if replacing intake manifold only.
Care Point:
Any removed component must be transferred to the replacement manifold.

Remove sensor - Temperature manifold absolute pressure (TMAP) - Intake. DA-RM-05F001-01-029 - Remove/Install sensor - Temperature manifold absolute pressure (TMAP) - Intake
 
 
Care Point:
Vehicles fitted with ISG only.
 
7.  
Remove screws and remove intake sound generator throttle bracket. (M6x25) 10 Nm
 
Install Intake manifold
1.  
Replace intake manifold gasket (6).
 
2.  
Remove covers from the inlet chambers of the cylinder heads.
 
 
Care Point:
Make sure intake manifold harness is correctly routed.
 
3.  
Install components in reverse order.
 
4.  
Start vehicle, check for leaks.
 
5.  
Read out and clear error memory.
