Preparation work
Remove glass - Tailgate - Removable
| | | Care Point: | Discard fixings (1) once removed.

| | | 1. | | | | 2. | Remove plastic covers from headliner.
| | | 3. | Disconnect electrical connector (2) and disconnect coupling.
| | | 4. | | | |

| 5. | Remove tailgate glass from vehicle.
| | | 6. | If replacing the tailgate glass, note up to 3 shims can be fitted to the upper mounting point. Make sure the shims are installed to the replacement tailgate glass when required. Refer to the Spare Parts Catalogue (SPC) for part numbers.

Install glass - Tailgate - Removable
| | | Care Point: | If replacing tailgate assembly, new NVH foam must be fitted.

| | | 1. | | | | 
|
| | | Care Point: | NVH foam must be applied level with the last horizontal heating element (X) in the centre of the longitudinal heater bus bar (Y).
Apply pressure once aligned to secure.

| | | 2. | Remove backing tape from NVH foam (4) and apply to tailgate glass.
| | | | | Care Point: | Replace fixings (1), do not attempt to re-use.
|
| Care Point: | Make sure securing brackets are fitted to lower fixings.
|
| | | 3. | Install component in reverse order.
