Preparation work
1.

Care Point: Remove both sides.

Care Point: Remove both sides.

Care Point: Remove both sides.

Care Point: Remove both sides.
10.    
Care Point: Remove both sides. Disconnect only.

Remove fender - Front
 
Care Point:
Fender is removed with inner bonnet seals attached, but door secondary seal detached from rear of panel.
 
1.  
Detach door secondary seal from fender.
 

 
Care Point:
Protect the surrounding area.
 
2.  
Detach the wiring harness (1).
 
3.  
Remove bolts (2). (M6x16) 5 Nm
 
4.  
Remove bolts (3). (M6x16) 5 Nm
 
5.  
Remove bolts (4). (M6x16) 5 Nm
 
6.  
Remove fender from vehicle.
 
Install fender - Front
 
Care Point:
If replacing fender, carry out step 1 and replace bonnet seals.
Care Point:
Clean seal mounting edges of fender using Betaclean 3900
 
1.  
Replace bonnet seals.
 
2.  
Install fender to vehicle.
 
 
Care Point:
The procedure below must be claimed separately if you make a warranty claim.
 
3.  
Check gap and flush of fender to door and bonnet. DA-RM-02A052-00-001 - Gap and flush - Check and adjust - Closures
 
4.  
Remove excess adhesive from seal mounting edge and door secondary seal.
 
5.  
Clean seal mounting edge using Betaclean 3900.
 
6.  
Re-attach door secondary seal, replacing adhesive tape with 3M PT1100.
 
7.  
Install remaining components in reverse order.
