Preparation work
Remove switch pack - Seat - Electric
| | | Care Point: | The procedure outlined below refers to switch packs found on full electric seats, either driver or passenger side.
Passenger side manual seats do not have a switch pack.

| Care Point: | Risk of component damage: Do not place seat assembly on a hard surface.
|
| | | 1. | Apply masking tape (M) to the valance (1) at the area shown.
| | | 2. | | | |

| 3. | Remove cover (3).
| | | 4. | Disconnect electrical connector (4).
| | | 5. | | | | 
|
| 6. | Detach trim clips (6) from seat frame.
| | | 7. | Remove valance (1) from seat assembly with switch pack (7) attached.
| | | 
|
| | | Care Point: | Once front screws are removed, valance and switch cover will separate. Remove front screws first.
|
| | | 8. | | | | 9. | Separate switch pack (7) from valance (1).
| | |

Install switch pack - Seat - Electric
| | | Care Point: | Inspect and replace trim clips where required.
|
| Care Point: | If seat control unit is being replaced or updated, make sure switch pack is installed first.
Do not attempt to fit an opposite vehicle side (Driver / Passenger) or different drive side (LHD / RHD) switch pack for testing purposes, this will cause a communication failure of the seat control unit/s.
