Remove wishbone - Rear - Lower
| 1. | Release lock and detach displacement senor link rod (1).
| | | 2. | Remove nut (2) and disconnect the link rod from the lower wishbone. 60 Nm
| | | 
|
| | | Care Point: | Support the suspension.
|
| | | 3. | Release bolt (3) and detach the actuator from the lower wishbone. (M10x40) 57 Nm
| | | 4. | Remove nut (4) and detach the lower wishbone from the upright. (M14) 90 Nm
| | | 5. | | | | 
|
Install wishbone - Rear - Lower
| 1. | Install components in reverse order.
| | | | | Care Point: | Once vehicle is on ground.
|
| | | 2. | Apply pressure to the top of the wheel, towards vehicle. If excessive inward movement is detected, the upper wishbone ball joint has failed. The upper wishbone will require replacing.
| | | | | Care Point: | The procedure below must be claimed separately if you make a warranty claim.

| | | 3. | Make sure that the suspension geometry is in tolerance.
| | | 4. | Connect McLaren Diagnostic System, proceed to Diagnostic Toolbox within Chassis Control Unit (CCU).
| | | 5. | Access Sequences section.
| | | 6. | Carry out Damping Sensor Calibration.
