Preparation work

Remove bearing - Starter motor
 
Care Point:
Make sure that front of the special tool (P1) is closed and fitted separately.
Care Point:
Make sure that the larger bore of special tool (P3) goes over special tool (P2).
 
1.  
Insert special tool into starter motor bore (arrow A). Starter motor bearing removal tool
 
2.  
Screw in rod (P2) until tight (arrow B).
 
3.  
Remove starter motor bearing (1) with special tool (P3, arrow).
 
Install bearing - Starter motor
1.  
Fit starter motor bearing (1) on the special tool (P4, arrow). Starter motor bearing fitting tool
 
2.  
Insert starter motor bearing (1) into the bore with special tool (P4).
 
 
Care Point:
Gradually tap starter motor bearing into bore until fully home.
 
3.  
Install components in reverse order.
