Preparation work
| 1. | Care Point: If removing left hand latch, lift vehicle.

Remove latch and emergency release cable - Door
| 1. | | | | 2. | Remove loudspeaker housing (2).

| 3. | | | | | | Care Point: | Detach door latch release cable ©).
|
| Care Point: | Detach any harness clips to allow seatbelt assembly to be moved aside.
|
| | | 4. | Partially remove seatbelt retaining bracket (4).
| | | 
|
| | | Care Point: | Push grommets (G) through door latch cover when removing.
|
| | | 5. | Partially remove the door latch cover (5).
| | | 6. | Disconnect door latch electrical connector.
| | | 7. | Remove the door latch cover.
| | | 
|
| | | Care Point: | Left hand latch only.
|
| | | 8. | Disconnect the emergency release cable (6) and release from the door opening panel (DOP).

| 9. | | | | 10. | Remove the door latch.

Install latch and emergency release cable - Door
| 1. | Install latch assembly in reverse order.
| | | | | Care Point: | Make sure all grommets are fitted correctly.
|
| Care Point: | Make sure that the manual release cable is routed correctly when feeding through seatbelt bracket and when installing the B-Pillar trim.
It must not become trapped between the B-Pillar trim and the seatbelt bracket area or wrapped around the seatbelt bracket.

Check button, release switch and key functionality.
| | | 5. | Install remaining components in reverse order.
| | | 6. | Complete a final check of installation.
A: Check button, release switch and key functionality.
B: Allow vehicle to enter sleep mode.
C: Check functionality of release cable/s.
