Preparation work

Remove hinge - Door - lower
1.  
Remove bolts (1) (M6x16) 5 Nm.
 
2.  
Remove wheel arch panel (2).
 
 
Care Point:
Spacing shims may be fitted between the hinge and the vehicle body.
 
3.  
Remove bolts (3).
 
4.  
Remove lower hinge from vehicle.
 
Remove hinge - Door - upper
1.  
Remove screws (4). (M6x12) 6 Nm
 
 
Care Point:
Upper hinge cover is secured with a clip in front of the hinge leaf.
 
2.  
Remove upper hinge cover (5).
 
3.  
Remove bolts (6). (M6x20) 10 Nm
 
4.  
Remove upper hinge.
 
Install hinge - Door
1.  
Install the lower hinge and torque bolts (1) and (2) (M10x25) 70 Nm in sequence.
 

2.  
Torque the bolt (3) (M8x25) 25 Nm.
 
3.  
Install the remaining components in reverse order.
 
 
Care Point:
The procedure below must be claimed separately if you make a warranty claim.
