Preparation work

Remove trim - Door
 
Care Point:
Head air bag located in door.
Apply protective tape where required.
 
1.  
Remove airbag badge (1).
 
2.  
Remove door finisher trim (2).
 
3.  
Remove door pull trim (3).
 
 
Care Point:
Apply tape to protect trim.
 
4.  
Remove door speaker grille (4).
 
 
Care Point:
Vehicles fitted with ambient lighting only, complete step 5.
 
5.  
Disconnect electrical connector (5).
 
 
Care Point:
Open the door pocket to access the lower bolts.
 
6.  
Remove bolts (6). (M6x16) 6 Nm
 
7.  
Partially remove the door trim.
 
 
Care Point:
Vehicles fitted with ambient lighting only, complete step 8.
Care Point:
Electrical connector located on the rear edge of door trim.
 
8.  
Disconnect the electrical connector (7).
 
9.  
Remove door trim.
 
Install trim - Door
1.  
Install components in reverse order.
 
2.  
Check functionality of switch packs and ambient lighting (where fitted).
