Preparation work
1.     
Care Point: Remove both sides.
2.     
3.     
Remove latch - Bonnet
 
Care Point:
The bonnet latch is supplied with an emergency release cable.
Only replace emergency cable if required.
Care Point:
Refer to procedure DA-RM-03A071-01-001 - Remove/Install bumper - Front to gain access to bonnet emergency release latch assembly.
 
1.  
Disconnect bonnet latch cable (1).
 
2.  
Disconnect electrical connectors (2).
 
3.  
Remove bolts (3). (M6x16) 5 Nm
 
4.  
Remove bonnet latch (4) from vehicle.
 
Install latch - Bonnet
1.  
Install components in reverse order.
 
2.  
Check alignment of bonnet striker, adjust as required.DA-RM-02A052-00-001 - Gap and flush - Check and adjust - Closures
 
3.  
Check functionality.
