Preparation work

Remove mirror - Driver
 
Care Point:
Make sure vehicle is in sleep mode before disconnecting battery.
Care Point:
Mirror cover trims clip into windscreen bracket individually.
 
1.  
Remove the mirror cover trims (1).
 
2.  
Disconnect electrical connector (2).
 
 
Care Point:
Only move the mirror parallel to the windscreen.
 
3.  
Remove mirror (3) in the direction shown.
 
Install mirror - Driver
 
Care Point:
Make sure mirror wiring harness will not become trapped when installing the trims.
 
1.  
Apply CARBAFLO XTR 5F to the area shown (1) to help the installation process.
 
2.  
Install components in reverse order.
 
3.  
Read out and clear error memory.
