| 1. | Remove the transmission.
| | | 2. | Remove the clutch.
| | | 3. | Remove the CCV.
| | | 4. | Remove and discard the seal (1).

|
| 5. | Remove the retaining clip (2).
| | | 6. | Install the drive shaft removal tool and turn the handle clockwise (3), the tool will expand and grip the drive shaft.
| | | 
|
| | | Care Point: | Gently tap the tool with a mallet to release the drive shaft.
|
| | | 7. | Remove the drive shaft from the transmission (4).
| | | 8. | Remove the retaining clip (5).
| | | 
|
| 9. | Remove the drive shaft tube from the transmission (6).
| | | 
|
| 10. | Remove and discard the 2 O=rings (7, 8).
| | | 11. | Remove the 7 bolts (M6 x 30mm) that attach the AUX to the transmission (9).
| | | 
|
| 12. | Remove the oil seal retaining plate (10).
| | | 13. | Disconnect the wiring harness (11).
| | | 14. | Remove the retaining clip (12).
| | | 
|
| 15. | Release the electrical connector from the transmission.
| | | 16. | Remove the AUX from the transmission (13).
| | | 17. | Remove and discard the 3 O-Rings (14).
| | | 
|
| 18. | Check the 2 dowels are in the transmission (15).
| | | | | Care Point: | Use the three plastic plugs supplied with the new AUX.
|
| | | 19. | Install the 3 plastic plugs (16).
| | | 
|
| 20. | Record the AUX serial number (17).
| | | 21. | Put the AUX in a new plastic bag, seal the plastic bag to prevent fluid loss or contamination.
| | | 
|
| 1. | Remove the AUX from the packaging.
| | | 2. | Record the new AUX serial number (18).
| | |
|
| 3. | Remove the 3 plastic plugs (19).
| | | 4. | Install 3 new O-rings (20).
| | | 5. | Install the AUX and align on the 2 dowels (21, 22).
| | | 
|
| 6. | Install the electrical connector.
| | | 7. | Install the electrical connector retaining clip (23).
| | | 
|
| 8. | Connect the wiring harness to the electrical connector (24).
| | | 9. | Install the oil seal retaining plate (25).
| | | 10. | Install the 5 bolts (M6 x 30mm) (26).
| | | 11. | Install the 2 bolts (M6 x 35mm) (27).
| | | 12. | Tighten the bolts to 5Nm
| | | 
|
| 13. | Tighten the bolts to 10Nm
| | | 
|
| 14. | Install the new O-rings, lubricate the O-rings with transmission oil (28, 29).
| | | 15. | Lubricate the sealing faces of the tube.
| | | 16. | Install the tube (30).
| | | 
|
| 17. | Use the tool (31) to insert the tube into the transmission.
| | | 
|
| 18. | Install the retaining ring (32).
| | | 
|
| 19. | Install the drive shaft and bearing assembly (33).
| | | 20. | Install the retaining ring (34).
| | | 
|
| 21. | Install a new drive shaft seal (35).
| | | 
|
| 22. | Use the seal installation tool (36) to insert the seal to the correct depth.
| | | 23. | Install the CCV.
| | | 24. | Install the clutch.
| | | 25. | Install the transmission.
| | |
