Overview
| 1. | The procedure below shows fitment of EU plinth. A rear plinth is not provided by McLaren Automotive for non EU markets. However, a rear plinth my be required for local legislation purposes and as such must be locally sourced.

Install license plate plinth - Rear
| | | Care Point: | Where fitted, do not measure from the rear camera bezel.

| | | 1. | Locate the centre line of the bumper panel, apply a marker (M1) (such as tape) to highlight.
| | | 2. | Measuring from the bottom of the upper bumper panel (B), measure downwards to locate the top edge position for the plinth being installed.
Note: Measurement inclusive of the shape of the bumper.
Once measured, apply a marker (M2) (such as tape) to define top edge position.

| 3. | Test fit plinth (1) to bumper, and secure using masking tape.
| | | | | Care Point: | Make sure plinth is level before continuing.

| | | 4. | Use holes in plinth to mark hole centres (2) in bumper.
| | | 5. | Remove plinth (1) from bumper.
| | | 6. | Remove marker (M1, M2).
| | | | | Care Point: | Do not drill more than 20 mm beyond bumper skin.

| | | 7. | Drill four pilot / guide holes (2) into bumper.
| | | 8. | Widen holes (2) drilled to a suitable diameter to fit rawl nuts.

| 9. | Install rawl nuts (3) to bumper.
