Possible fluid spills from vehicle systems during repairs or maintenance.
Risk of thermal incidents, slip hazards, corrosion of electrical components, failure of electrical or mechanical components or unwanted odours.
Always limit fluid spills and fully clean the spilled fluid after repairs or maintenance.
 
Remove ladder frame grub screw
1.  
Remove ladder frame grub screw (1). (M12) 15 Nm
 
Install ladder frame grub screw
1.  
Clean threaded hole in ladder frame of old Loctite and Oil.
 
 
Care Point:
Renew ladder frame grub screw and make sure that old component is discarded.
Make sure part number 11F1214CP is used.

Install ladder frame grub screw (1). (M12) 15 Nm
 
3.  
Clean ladder frame externally from residual oil.
 
4.  
Start engine and allow to idle for 2 minutes.
 
5.  
Check engine for leaks.

Install components in reverse order
