Instructions
Chassis / Brakes - Systems / Pedal Box / DA-RM-04C003-01-002 - Remove/Install pedal - Brake
Preparation work
1.     
Remove pedal - Brake
1.  
Remove clips (1).
 
2.  
Remove screws (2).
 
3.  
Disconnect electrical connector on lamp footwell.
 
4.  
Remove driver facia closure panel (3).
 
5.  
Disconnect brake light switch electrical connector (4).
 
6.  
Remove locking clip (5) and bolt (6).
 
7.  
Remove bolts (7). (M8x70) 16 Nm
 
 
Care Point:
After brake pedal is removed slave nuts back on brake booster.
 
8.  
Remove the bolts (8) and remove brake pedal (9). (M8) 20 Nm
 
Install pedal - Brake
 
Care Point:
Do not install the closure panel - Facia
 
1.  
Install components in reverse order.
 
2.  
Re apply torque to bolts (8). (M8) 20 Nm
 
3.  
Install the closure panel - Facia.
 
4.  
Check functionality.
